Elias Rizo Arquitectos was founded in 1996 in Guadalajara, Mexico by Elias Rizo. Since then, the workshop has carried out projects of different types, such as residential, commercial, corporate, hospital, and urban projects. The office has built work in Mexico, the United States, and Europe. Their work has received numerous national and international awards. It has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Budapest, Quito Biennale, and Vicenza, among others, representing the “21 Young Mexican architects of the 21st Century” at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. In 2003, Alejandro Rizo joined the workshop, and in 2020, Elias Rizo Oroz.

The firm specializes in planning, landscape architecture, and sustainability. Maat means “That which one believes in,” and Handasa means “Architecture.” Their collaboration in Maena has the objective of further exploring the possibilities of the property through the analysis and interpretation of the flora, fauna, topography, and plant palette. This laid the foundations to achieve a harmonious masterplan with the property and create spaces with exciting amenities, different and blended into the environment. 

Interior design firm founded by Cordelia Gutierrez Zambrano from Monterrey, Nuevo León. Corde’s contribution to Maena is broad and abundant thanks to her impeccable aesthetic criteria, her sensitive empathy with the user, and her desire to achieve the best experience when interacting with the project.

Multidisciplinary study specialized in the design of tourism concepts explores alternative paths of hospitality, stimulates consciences and emotions, and contributes to a better world, with extensive experience in creating brand concepts such as Live Aqua, Atelier, Oleo, Studio, as well as more than thirty restaurants and hotels. They have collaborated with 15 of the leading chefs of national and international gastronomy, including Chef Nobu in Mexico City, Santa Fe; Chef MB Michelle Bernstein at Live Aqua, Cancun; Chef Enrique Olvera, Galani in Sao Paulo, Brazil, among others.

Pioneer and visionary company in sustainability solutions, founded in 2001 by Ulises Treviño in the city of San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. Today, it has over 80 certified projects, representing over 20% of the country’s total. Its contribution to Maena begins with its design. It lasts in parallel with the life of the development, ensuring that its units and their interaction with energy, water, waste, and other elements minimize their impact on the environment and optimize their efficiency. By continually challenging the “status quo” from the design stage, BEA encourages the team to continue finding solutions that reduce environmental impact and contribute positively to the environment where the projects are located.
